Man this takes me back, at my elementary school we used to play football with those dolls in their Ball form.

They had this really dorky TV advertisement which had a song that went "A popple plops from a ball to a Bear, take your teddy everywhere." and we changed that into "A popple plops form a bear to a ball, gotta to kick them all."

Never thought that Popples could involve fan service.

Well...if you're interested in owning the series complete run on a bootleg set (when I say complete, I mean it--it has the live-action pilot and some random toy commercials from the 1980s!!), you can buy it here at this [link]

OH! I remember that toon! It was about plushies that could turn into plush balls. No wonder it was coming from the same age of The Transformers G1.
